We regret the <br />imposition on your time, however, we have included two different 'Statement of <br />Understanding' documents; and ask that you sign, date and return them in the self- <br />addressed stamped envelope provided. <br />The first 'Statement/ pertains to an oversight on our part to inform you of the submittal <br />of our permit application to the Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety for <br />the extraction of sand and gravel. Your facilities are not located within our permit <br />boundary but are located on adjacent lands and approximately 100± feet from planned <br />extraction activity; and therefore require notification by us to your organization within a <br />certain time period of publication. The enclosures should provide the necessary details. <br />While we trust you will not object to our planned operations, we are providing you this <br />notification and waiving the previous 27 April 2009 time limit for you to object, if you so <br />desire, as long as your objections are received by the Division prior to the 9 June 2009 <br />Decision Date. If you have any concerns, naturally, we hope you will contact us first <br />and afford us an opportunity to address them, or otherwise clarify our planned activities <br />and assure you of the integrity of our planned activity. <br />Also enclosed, please find information pertaining to a 'Statement of Understanding' <br />regarding any significant, valuable and permanent man-made structures located within <br />200 hundred feet of our planned activity and affected land within our proposed permit <br />boundary. Please review the documents and if you are willing, sign, date and return <br />both signature pages in the self addressed stamped envelope provided. <br />Naturally, should you need additional information or clarification, please feel free to <br />contact us at any time.
