Presently,
we are monitoring extensive bank stabilization work along the Animas River and reseeding
efforts on the area west of the river. Bank stabilization remained intact after the 2008 runoff
season.
As noted in the 2008 annual report, our seeding consultant noted that the landowner had not
irrigated the reseeded area that was now under stress. I called Jim Bryce, the land owner, who
stated that he was having trouble getting irrigation water to the field. Irrigating the field is the
land owners' responsibility.
This letter and enclosed check for $791.00 are submitted as fulfillment of our reporting
obligations for the year that began 28 July 2007.
Sincerely,
Peter M.
