The water quality measurements over baseline values at Deer Creek are not mining related,
but included dissolved aluminum of 0.641 mg/l compared to the baseline maximum of below lab
detection limits (<0.03 mg/1); dissolved boron of 0.83 mg/1 compared to the baseline maximum of
0.03 mg/l; dissolved copper of 0.017 mg/l compared to the baseline maximum of below lab
• detection limits (<0.01 mg/1); dissolved magnesium of 21.4 mg/I compared to the baseline
maximum of 20.4 mg/1; total manganese of 0.06 mg/I compared to the baseline maximum of 0.049
mg/l; nitrate/nitrite of 2.2 mg/I compared to the baseline maximum of 2.07 mg/1; pH of 8.41 s.u.
compared to the baseline minimum of 8.5 s.u.; dissolved potassium of 5.09 mg/l compared to the
baseline maximum of 3.6 mg/l; total selenium of 0.003 mg/l compared to the baseline maximum of
below lab detection limits (<0.001); TDS of 376 mg/l compared to the baseline maximum of 330
mg/l; and TSS of 150 mg/l compared to the baseline maximum of 68 mg/l.
One sample was collected for analysis in WY 2008 at the Poison Gulch monitoring station in WY
2008. The numerous water quality measurements over baseline values observed in WY 2008 at
Poison Gulch are not mining related, but included dissolved aluminum of 0.194 mg/l compared to
the baseline maximum of below lab detection limits (<0.03 mg/1); total arsenic of 0.0052 mg/l
compared to the baseline maximum of 0.0007 mg/l; dissolved boron of 0.83 mg/l compared to the
baseline maximum of 0.03 mg/l; dissolved calcium of 36 mg/l compared to the baseline maximum
of 35.5 mg/l; chloride of 1.44 mg/1 compared to the baseline maximum of 1 mg/l; conductivity of
317.9 µmhos/cm compared to the baseline maximum of 295 µmhos/cm; dissolved copper of 0.032
mg/l compared to the baseline maximum of below lab detection limits (<0.01 mg/1); hardness of
about 134 mg/I compared to the baseline maximum of 124 mg/l; dissolved iron of 0.12 mg/l
compared to the baseline maximum of 0.11 mg/l; total iron of 2.58 mg/l compared to the baseline
June 2009 HydroGeo, Inc.
