The revegetated area is responding well to abundant rain and warm temperatures. Grasses <br />and forbs, including alfalfa, cicer milkvetch, western wheatgrass, smooth brome, and Indian <br />ricegrass were observed along with various other species and annual weeds. <br />Weed control activities are partially complete at this time. Knapweed and houndstongue <br />plants were showing the effects of the herbicide applied recently. <br />Excess Spoil <br />The three excess spoil fills appeared normal with no sign of slumping or instability. The <br />repair to the wing ditch on the west side of Fill 8 remains to be completed.
