The permittee will work with local school districts to ensure that concrete and <br />haul trucks will not be traveling on County roads at the same time as school buses. <br />Based on the expected haul route and current school bus routes, trucks will not be <br />allowed on County Road 179 between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m. and between 4:15 and 4:45 <br />p.m. on days when school is in session. Permittee shall adjust restricted routes and <br />times as necessary to ensure compliance with this condition. <br />31. The silencers on all ventilator fans shall be cleaned as necessary to mitigate <br />noise impacts. (PP2009-006) <br />AMENDMENT TO SPECIAL USE PERMIT PP2005-078 <br />Chad Phillips and Ross Easterling, Planning; Tom Sullivan, County Manager; Heather <br />McLaughlin, Road and Bridge; John Vanderbloemen, Precision Excavating's attorney; David <br />Zehner, Frank Camilletti, Cade Wilson, and Rudy Camilletti, Precision Excavating, Inc, and; <br />Jody and Ed Camilletti, Camilletti and Sons, were present. Commissioner Monger was absent. <br />Mr. Easterling said that the petition was for an amendment to the gravel pit Special Use <br />Permit (SUP) #PP2005-078, to expand the mine and increase the disturbed area to 60 acres <br />and to extend the hours for hauling and crushing at the Camilletti Gravel Pit on an 80-acre tract <br />of land located on County Road 179, one mile south of Milner, Colorado. He stated that at its <br />May 7, 2009 meeting, the Planning Commission voted to recommend approval of the petition <br />and noted that no public comment was offered at that hearing. 11e accompanied his <br />description of the proposed amendment with photographs of the mined airea and the proposed <br />expansion area. He stated that part of the proposed amendment was to increase the <br />permitted mine area from 25 acres of disturbed land to 35 acres oi' disturbed land and <br />explained the reasons for that request. He noted that the proposed expansion area, located <br />on the south bank of Trout Creek, would not be accessed by haul trucks or the public. He said <br />that the operation, including the diesel-run electric generator, would run twenty-four hours a <br />day, seven days a week. He stated that he had stood 100 feet away from the generator and <br />was able to carry on a normal conversation; one-half mile away from the generator, he was <br />unable to obtain an accurate reading, but he asserted that the generator could not be heard <br />over the Highway 40 traffic.
