The following
information is submitted.in response to the DRMS' questions/comments:__ _
Seed mix. used...for reseeding well sites 79-1, 79-,2, 79-3, 79-61. and AO-2A was Mountain (Tall)
Fescue. It is a native variety to that area, was purchased from the local supplier who supplies
same for local ranchers for surrounding livestock graze lands and was broadcast and hand
raked onto the well sites. ,
Disturbance to the well sites was minute. A rubber tired backhoe was used for the excavation
work at the sites. The drill-rig & trailer was rubber tired as-well and given that the ground surface
was dry and firm (during October) no rutting on the ground surface occurred. The estimated
area of disturbance to reclaim all five well sites is 0.03 acre (<0.1 acre).
A detailed description of the procedures used to seal/reclaim the referenced wells was
submitted to the Division (letter dated 11-14-08 included with the Well Abandonment Report) by
Pronghorn Geologic Services of Gillette, Wyoming. For convenience, a copy of the letter and
report under the signature of Glenn E. Miller, Professional Geologist is enclosed with this
submittal for your review and file. A copy of the corrected 2008 ARR Form is also enclosed.
If you have questions or require additional information, please contact me.
Sincerely,
eorge V atterson
General Mine Mgr
