The well permit application that we prepared has already been
submitted to the Division of Water Resources. When the SWSP is submitted to the Division of Water
Resources, please ensure that DMRS receives a copy of the SWSP.
Compliance Problem 2 of the attached letter has been resolved.
Compliance Problem 3 of the attached letter states that a technical revision must be submitted for the
inlet structure that was built by Central to fill the storage reservoir. We have submitted the drawings
that Central provided. However, it appears that the DRMS is requesting as-built documentation and a
processing fee of $216.00. Since the inlet structure is not part of Weld County's mining operations, it is
our position that Central needs to provide the technical revision and pay the processing fee. Please
provide copies of the as-built drawings for the inlet structure to DRMS.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 970-304-6496 x 3741.
Sincerely,
(44'
Clay Kimmi, P.E., C.F.M.
Weld County Public Works
Drainage and Floodplain Engineer
Original: Randy Ray, Central Colorado Water Conservancy District
CC: Koenig Gravel Pit File
Michael Cunningham, Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
1111 H STREET, P.O.
