Everist ("Applicant"). The
required fee of $257.00 for the renewal of this substitute supply plan has been submitted (receipt
no. 3610886).
Plan Operation
This plan seeks to replace depletions resulting from mining operations at the Lohmann
pit. The depletions that result from the mining operation are evaporation, water lost in mined
product and dust suppression. The applicant has bonded through the Division of Reclamation
Mining and Safety for final reclamation of the site.
The proposed replacement sources are 0.25 shares of Rural Ditch (WDID 0600551) and,
nontributary Laramie-Fox Hills water withdrawn from well nos. 66271-F, 66273-F and 66274-F.
Dewatering at the Lohmann Pit commenced in 2001. Dewatering will continue through
2009 and all dewatered water will be discharged to the Last Chance Ditch for conveyance back
to the St. Wain River. The Applicant has a carriage agreement with the Last Chance Ditch
Company for conveyance of the water through the ditch and back to the St. Wain River. The
Applicant's accounting specifies the depletions and accretions from the dewatering operation.
The Applicant must assure that the water discharged to the Last Chance Ditch (WDID 0500589)
is returned directly back to the St. Wain River without consumption by ditch shareholders.
RECEIVED
JUN 12 2009
Office of the &ate Engineer Division oT maciamation,
1313 Sherman Street, Suite 818 • Denver, CO 80203 • Po: 303-866-3581 • Fax: 303-866-3589 fining and Safety
www.water.state.co.us
