The area of storage is
not within the permitted mined area. The access paths are coned and a site specific
channelized area for processing. We also have personnel that direct the traffic
through the area. We plan on picking up & removing the articles of concern and put
them with the other articles collected. Then everything is placed in appropriate
dumpsters and hauled off. Park County contracts Waste Management and utilization
of county vehicles to transport and remove.
David Bird of DRMS did notify Park County as to what day he would be doing the
inspection. David Bird also stated that he would contact Park County as he did not
know exactly what time he would be through. The inspection at the Ansley Pit was
done at 1300 hours (1:00 PM) and Park County wasn't notified. Park County worked
through 3:30 PM that day and would have attended.
T ou,
l ,
Doug W h
Park County Road & Bridge
P O Box 147
Fairplay, Colorado 80440
