is at approximate elevation 5015'and approximate elevation 5018' near the Kirby property. We <br />believe that a drain at this elevation should be effective in reducing groundwater mounding while <br />keeping water levels high enough to not impact local alluvial wells. In addition, the invert elevation <br />of 5012 in this location will allow construction of a future long term perimeter drain capable of <br />gravity flow to the river either in the northwest or southwest corner. This long term drain would <br />consist of slotted pipe and will be designed in the future for submittal to DRMS by July 24, 2009. <br />The long term drain design will include pipe details, bedding criteria, and cleanouts. <br />Attachment: Figure 1 <br />PA0336 Asphalt Specialties\002 Speer PhOrain Trench Memo.docx <br />2
