I wanted to inform you that I just had a meeting with Ben Frei, CEO of Albert Frei and
Sons, at his request.
While no definitive solution or commitment to resolve our high water levels was
expressed, I do feel that it was a very positive meeting.
We discussed and evaluated in depth the possibility of installing a permanent drainage
pipe from our lake to the Platte river as a potential solution.
We also discussed the possibility of Albert Frei and Sons placing a temporary 6" pump in
our lake and running a discharge hose through the drainage pipe under Brighton road and
down to the river as an
interim measure to lower water levels.
Ben Frei did tell me that he would meet with his father and board and advise that they
move forward with a solution and that he would contact me by the end of the week with their
determination.
Again, I feel encouraged in the fact that he took pro-active measures to contact me and
that he seems genuinely concerned about our situation.
Water levels continue to rise here, 3" in the last 3 days.
