Due to time of <br />survey and distance to suitable habitat, these species were neither expected nor observed. <br />Common song birds expected for GRGP vicinity include: Mountain Bluebird, Mourning Dove, <br />White-breasted Nuthatch, Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher, Northern Flicker, Say's Phoebe, Dusky <br />Flycatcher, Gray Flycatcher, Loggerhead Shrike, Townsend's Solitaire, Canyon Wren, Violet- <br />green Swallow, Barn Swallow, Meadow Lark, Raven and Eastern Kingbird. <br />Fisheries <br />The adjacent Gunnison River is potential important habitat for important species of protected or <br />special concern fish (Table 3). In all cases, these fish are present in much less numbers than <br />historically. Species of special concern are so classified by DOW under administrative <br />guidelines and is not an arbitrary classification. <br />Table 3.
