Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety (DRMS) received a request to investigate possible off site <br />damage to property adjacent to the permitted Yule Marble Quarry on May 21, 2009. DRMS visited the <br />site on May 26, 2009 and is currently assessing the situation based on permit review and on the ground <br />conditions. Please find attached a copy of secondary correspondence received by DRMS from the <br />landowner dated June 1, 2009. Based on the correspondence there is some question regarding access <br />rights which may or may not impact the DRMS course of action. Please review the correspondence and <br />respond in writing to DRMS regarding the course of action being taken by Colorado Stone Quarries and <br />other relevant facts to address the damage issues.
