Upon further investigation, it was determine to be the solid 3" pipeline <br />associated with water transfer system for LDS-1 1. As you are aware, this solid pipeline in place <br />to transfer any potential water from the LDS beneath the VLF down to the manhole monitoring <br />port. This LDS is dry and there is no evidence of water within the system. At no time from the <br />time of the incident until the completion of the pipe repair was there water noted from the LDS. <br />As noted in the field on May 21, 2009, during your inspection of the completed repairs, the entire <br />solid pipeline was replaced in the area of this natural gas line trenching. AMEC provided <br />oversight of the pipe connections, placement of bedding backfill and trench backfill to design
