On Site Processinir <br />Solution (SO) Chemical (CH) F-1 Thermal (TH) <br />Heap Leach (HL) F] Vat Leach (VL) <br />List any designated chemicals or acid-producing materials to be used or stored within permit area: <br />None - Ore will be processed off-site <br />Description of Amendment: <br />If you are amending or converting an existing operation, provide a brief narrative describing the proposed change(s): <br />On February 8, 2008, Denison received Notices of Determination of Designation Mining Operation (DMO) from the State of Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (the 'Division"). <br />By letters dated March 7, 2008, Denison noted the Division under Rule 7.2.3(1) of the Colorado Mineral Rules and Regulations for Hard Rods, Metal and Designated Mining Operations, that it was <br />not challenging these determinations, but that it would proceed to prepare EPPs for each of these mines in accordance with Rule 7.2.3(2). <br />In those letters, Denison also advised the Division that it believed that in the course of preparing such EPPs it may be able to demonstrate that some or all of the mines should be considered to be <br />wYwm. fmm the FPP rwnutremerim ender Rule 1 1(141(Ai or Rula 7 2 n(1) <br />On February 8, 2008, Denison received the formal notice of determination of DMO status from the Division and through various correspondences; the due date for the EPP was set for June 8, 2009.
