Dear Mr. Bauer,
The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety received your above referenced response in
regards to the Compliance Problems identified in the Division's report of the inspection
conducted on April 15, 2009. The status of the corrective actions reported by Weld County in
regards to these problems is as follows:
Compliance Problem 1: Failure to submit a copy of a well permit and substitute water
supply plan
The Division has approved your request for a 90 day extension of the corrective action date. The
well permit and substitute water supply plan must be submitted to the Division on or before
August 27, 2009.
Compliance Problem 2: Failure to submit a copy of a discharge permit
The response letter from the Weld County Public Works Department indicated that a copy of the
discharge permit was included with the letter. The Division did not receive a copy of the
discharge permit. Please submit another copy of the discharge permit, this problem will be
considered resolved when the Division receives the required documentation.
Compliance Problem 3: Failure to submit a Technical Revision prior to construction of the
inlet/outlet structure
The response letter from the Weld County Public Works Department indicated that a copy of the
construction drawings were included with the letter. The Division did not receive a copy of the
construction drawings. Please submit another copy of the construction drawings, this problem
will be considered resolved when the Division receives the required documentation. In addition,
the construction drawings must be submitted as a Technical Revision. Please provide a cover
letter with the submittal indicating that it is a Technical Revision, as well as a processing fee of
$216.00.
