Webster Sand & Gravel, LLC
145 S. Toledo
Leadville, CO 80461
(719) 486-0427
(Phone & fax)
Attention: Erica Crosby
Division Of Reclamation Mining and Safety
1313 Sherman St., Room215
Denver, Colorado 80203
April 15, 2009
Re: Annual Report and Filing Fee
Dear Erica,
Hi Erica, I am enclosing the yearly report and filing fee. I've also enclosed a map showing
current mining activity. In 2008 we still mined the previously opened area. As you know, we
held an auction at our pit in June 2006 and sold much of our existing equipment. Both the jaw
and rolls crushers were sold as were many conveyors and portable screens. We are still mining
southward from where they were located. Over eighty percent of our total product sold last year
was masonry sand. However, we did not sale any fill dirt or topsoil. No reclamation has
occurred, as there are many years of product to be mined.
In last year's report I enclosed a list of all equipment sold at auction and requested an adjustment
on the calculated cost of removal of equipment at the pit and a corresponding reduction in the
required warranty bond. I also requested a release of any money held in our certificate of deposit
(financial warranty bond) over the newly calculated amount. The interest accrued on the CD has
been added to the existing amount and currently is $15,268.37 over the original required amount
needed for future reclamation. I never heard back from you or anyone from the division, but I
again request that the division release this and approve future interest payments to be forwarded
to Webster Sand & Gravel, LLC. During the current economic conditions, we especially need
this money for investment in our business.
Also, we have completed the funding of the trusts that are the ownership members of Webster
Sand & Gravel, LLC. The following is our new federal employer ID:
26-3001947
We will be changing the name on the account holding the warranty CD from Charles J Webster
Estate to Webster Sand & Gravel, LLC. I will be in contact with you along with Erica Pollack
from American National Bank in Eagle to facilitate this the best way possible. Thank you for all
of your help.
If you have any questions, please call.
Sincerely, Q /
-'Daryl R. Webster
General Manager
P.O. Box 1834
Colleyville, TX 76034
