The permit was issued to <br />New Elk Coal Company, LLC, 122 West First Street, Trinidad, CO 81082, (719) 845-0090, for their <br />mining operation located in Las Animas County, approximately 25 miles west of Trinidad, Colorado. <br />Copies of the permit are available at the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. <br />Sincerely, <br />Kent A.
