Re: Sunday Complex Drilling Report
Between March 11 and April 8, 2009, Denison Mines (USA) Corp. conducted a nine-hole air-rotary drilling program in
support of hydrogeologic investigations within the Sunday Mine Complex. The study area is located along the southern
flanks of the northwest-southwest trending Gypsum Valley anticline. The purpose of the drilling was to provide current
groundwater elevations along with stratigraphic information.
• Drill hole locations were selected, reviewed and approved by Denison Mines Environmental Coordinator Christy
Woodward and Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc. (CDM) Hydrogeologist Mark Nelson. A total of seven holes (SC-0109 through
SC-0509, SC-0709 and SC-0809) totaling 2,090 feet ranging in depth from 285 to 560 feet were drilled near and around
the Carnation Mine portal and Sunday Mine Development Rock Areas. In addition two holes (SC-0609 and SC-0909)
totaling 1,045 feet ranging in depth from 445 to 600 feet were drilled near the Topaz Mine portal (Figure 1 - Drill hole
location map).
