COR-030000 Stormwater Management Plan <br />o Oil absorbent booms <br />o 55-gallon drums <br />o 9-mil plastic bags <br />o Personal protective equipment including gloves and goggles <br />• If an oil sheen is observed on surface water (e.g., temporary sediment basins, <br />ditches, and channels), absorbent pads and/or booms will be applied to contain <br />and remove the oil. The source of the oil sheen will also be identified and <br />removed or repaired as necessary to prevent further releases. <br />• The Mine General Superintendent, or his designee, will be responsible for <br />completing the spill reporting form and for reporting the spill to the <br />appropriate state or local agency (see Forms at the end of this section). <br />• Facility personnel with primary responsibility for spill response and cleanup <br />will receive training. This training will include identifying the location of <br />spill kits and other spill response equipment and the use of spill response <br />materials. <br />• Spill response equipment will be inspected and maintained as necessary to <br />replace any materials used in spill response activities. <br />iv) Notification <br />`• The following notification procedures are to be enacted by Denison's Environmental <br />Coordinator in the case of a discharge: <br />Immediate Notification <br />Petroleum releases of 25 gallons to the ground or any release that has or may impact <br />waters of the state (which include surface water, ground water and dry gullies or <br />storm sewers leading to surface water) must be reported within the following <br />timeframes to the following agencies or organizations: <br />• Immediate phone call to the National Response Center (NRC) <br />• Immediate phone call to the Colorado Department of Public Health and <br />Environment (CDPHE) <br />• Immediate phone call to the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) <br />• Phone call within 24 hours to the State Oil Inspector at the Division of Oil & <br />Public Safety <br />• Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety <br />• U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) <br />Petroleum releases of less than 25 gallons that cannot impact waters of the state must <br />be immediately contained and cleaned up.
