Sign?an?dustorparticulategeneralingprocesses <br />It Activities associated with this pollution source include all land disturbing activities such <br />as stockpiling, grading, and equipment movement on disturbed area. There is also the <br />potential for wind to transport dust from disturbed areas. The BMPs selected to control <br />this source is wetting of soils and final stabilization. Denison is currently working with <br />CDPHE on updating Air Permit status for fugitive dust control at the Sunday Mines. <br />d? Routine ma(m'enance actip&ks involvingferlillzers, pestrcrdes; detergents fuels, <br />solvents, oils; etc. <br />Activities associated with this pollution source are vehicle and equipment use, <br />maintenance and storage; and other maintenance operations. BMPs selected to control <br />this source are good housekeeping practices, personnel training in proper use and storage <br />of materials, and limiting equipment maintenance activities at the site. Fertilizers and <br />pesticides used for re-vegetation and weed control are done through BLM approved <br />forms and a weed management plan. <br />-9) On-.rile waste managementpractrces (waslepiles, liquid wastes, dumprlers, etc.) <br />Activities associated with this pollution source are the generation of solid waste materials <br />during project activities (timber, rubble, metal, etc.). BMPs selected to control this <br />source are good housekeeping and waste management practices, and personnel training. <br />Roll-off containers are used for trash removal. Other wastes, such as used oil, parts <br />cleaner and anti-freeze are removed from the site and recycled or disposed of properly at <br />a facility appropriate to that reuse or disposal.
