Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />This letter is to inform you that the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to Approve <br />a renewal application for a coal mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by BTU Empire <br />Corporation on February 21, 2008, for the Eagle Mine Complex. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the first publication of this notice by the <br />Division in the Craig Daily Press. <br />The underground mine is located approximately 7 miles Southwest of Craig, Colorado. The permit area is further <br />described as follows: <br />All or portions of Sections 4, 5, 6 and 8, T5N, R91 W; part of Section 1, T5N, R92W; and Sections 17, 19, 20, 21, <br />28, 29, 30, 31, 32 and 33, T6N, R91 W; portions of Sections 25, 26, 35 and 36, T6n, R92W; 6th Prime Meridian. <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and at <br />the Moffat County Clerk and Recorder.
