plan (Exhibit 29, Appendix D) that the Division has approved for implementation <br />while the mine is in temporary cessation. <br />Ground Water Monitoring Plan <br />The Water Quality Monitoring schedule for the Eagle Mine Complex is found in <br />Exhibit 29 of the permit application. There are three monitoring wells, the No. 5 <br />Mine, TR-4, and TR-7A. Quarterly and annual parameter lists are shown below. <br />Quarterly: <br />Depth <br />Conductivity <br />pH <br />Temperature <br />Annual: <br />Depth Calcium Mercury Iron <br />Conductivity Alkalinity (CaCO3) Magnesium Cadmium <br />pH Sodium Sulfate Manganese <br />Temperature Chloride Arsenic Zinc <br /> Lead Carbonate Boron <br /> Bicarbonate Selenium Molybdenum <br /> Nitrate <br />Alluvial valley wells AVF-3, AVF-5, and AVF-6 are also monitored for the <br />annual parameters. <br />Water levels in wells 83-01, 83-02, 83-03, and 84-01 are measured quarterly. <br />No. 9 BF-5 well will be installed in the No. 9 Mine refuse area within three <br />months after final grading of the area. Parameters to be measured and <br />frequency of measurement will be established at that time. <br />While the Eagle Mine Complex is in temporary cessation status, Water <br />Monitoring schedule Appendix D will be in effect. In accordance with the <br />approved plan, Well TR-7A will be monitored annually and the No. 5 Mine <br />Sump will be monitored quarterly <br />Surface Water Monitoring Plan <br />Water quality in the Williams Fork River is monitored at an upstream site and <br />a downstream site.
