Marathon
M Oil Company
May 18, 2009
Ms. Mary Rodriquez
Division of Reclamation
Mining and Safety
Department of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman St., Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
Re: 110c Annual Fee
Dear Ms. Rodriquez,
5555 San Felipe
Houston, TX 77056
P. O. Box 3128
Houston, TX 77253-3128
Telephone 713-296-3546
Please find enclosed a check for $323.00 for the Reclamation Permit.
Attached are displays for the quarry. The first attachment is the mine plan that
represents current status. Last year Marathon grubbed, and stripped topsoil from the
entire area.
As the quarry has not operated due to delay in receiving the air permit there have
been no significant changes. With the total area stripped, there will be no additional
disturbance planned in upcoming operations.
The only reclamation plans Marathon has will be seeding of the top soil stockpile and
weed prevention of the disturbed area.
Sincerely,
', J. Z " -----------
Frank Krugh
Regulatory Compliance Manager
