(b) The only man-made. structure within 200 feet of the affected area is a historical site <br />which has been determined to be ineligible for inclusion on the National List of <br />Historically Significant Places (please see enclosed report from CASA <br />Archaeological). <br />(c) The La Plata River runs along the southern border of the project site (Exhibit E). The <br />only direct impacts to the La Plata River will be in the form of a stream crossing for <br />the access road. This crossing will be permitted by the US Army Corps of Engineers <br />under a NWP #14 (verification of this permit for this activity is in process). <br />(d) No critical wildlife habitat exists in the affected area. No threatened and endangered <br />species (or their critical habitats) were found during a July 1999 inventory conducted <br />by Sugnet and Associates, Inc.
