The seed bed in all reclamation areas will be prepared by scarifying, tilling, harrowing, or
• roughening the surface of the replaced topsoil prior to seeding where needed to improve
revegetation potential. All disturbed areas will be reseeded with certified weed-free seed mixes.
The Rolling Loam areas will be reseeded with Native Seed Mix # 2, and the Pinyon-Juniper
Woodland areas will be reseeded with Native Seed Mix #3. The seed mixtures will be range
drilled or broadcast to achieve the application rate specified above.
After vegetation has been reestablished to pre-project levels and all disturbed areas have been
finally stabilized, any soil that has accumulated in the drainage system will be removed and
temporary BMPs, such as silt fences and straw bale check dams, will be removed.
.7
•
54
