3.1 Employee Conduct • <br />In order to preserve the integrity of the firm and that of its employees,.AMSO expects a high <br />level of professionalism and maturity of conduct from those employed by the company. <br />Employee behavior will not only be observed by supervisors but also by co-workers, in an <br />attempt to engender a well-developed sense of correct safety procedures in all personnel. <br />3.1.1 Workplace Behavior and Code of Conduct <br />AMSO policy requires that all AMSO employees shall conduct themselves in a professional <br />manner while on a project work site. Horseplay, practical jokes, or any tWe of harassment is <br />not allowed. <br />Sexual or racial harassment will not be tolerated on AMSO work sites. Sexual harassment <br />includes unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, threats, comments or remarks <br />on sexual situations, actual bodily contact, or any other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual <br />nature that may interfere with an employees work or make an employee feel uncomfortable, <br />threatened, offended, or intimidated at work. <br />Racial harassment includes the use of racial jokes, verbal insinuations or insults, the use: of slang <br />concerning race or ethnical origin, an open demonstration of hatred towards another worker <br />due to racial origin, or other acts indicating racial bias or bigotry. <br />Employees responsible for any violation of the AMSO Code of Conduct will be subject to <br />corrective action up to and including termination of employment. <br />3.1.2 Drugs, Alcohol, and Weapons <br />Weapons of any kind are strictly forbidden by AMSO on company and leased property. This <br />policy includes large knives, hunting knives, or any other potentially harmful object, homemade <br />or otherwise. Employees found in the possession of weapons will be subject to corrective action. <br />up to and including termination of employment. The use, possession, solicitation for, offer for <br />sale of alcohol, trade or sale of narcotics or other illegal drugs, alcohol, or prescription <br />medication without a prescription is strictly forbidden by AMSO on both company and leased <br />property.
