Sediment shall be removed from <br />behind the silt fence when it accumulates to one-half the exposed <br />fabric height. Sediments removed must be properly disposed. <br />• Silt fence damaged by wind or other factors should be promptly <br />repaired. <br />• Silt fences shall be removed when they have served their useful <br />purpose. The area with the silt fences shall be stabilized after removal <br />of the fence. <br />5-51
