Staff has calculated the initial reclamation liability for the proposed prospecting project <br />using inf'ormaticn within the application and information submitted by Western Water and Land, Inc.. The <br />estimate is based on what it would cost the state to hire a contractor to reclaim the site if the bond was <br />10 forfeited and not necessarily what it would cost American Shale Oil; LLC to complete the wo~k. <br />Staff's estimate for the proposed reclamation of the site is $392,089.00, rounded off to $392,100.00. Please <br />review the estimate carefully. Should there be any questions or corrections contact staff immediately.
