PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Skanska USA Civil West Rocky Mountain District; PO Box 1660/22419 Rd G, Cortez <br />CO 81321 has filed an application for conversion of a existing Reclamation Permit to a <br />Regular Construction Material Operation Reclamation Permit with the Colorado Mined <br />Land Reclamation Board under provisions of the Colorado Land Reclamation Act for the <br />Extraction of Construction Materials. The existing mine is known as the Red Mesa Pit, <br />and is located within section 7, Township 33 North, Range 12 Wes, New Mexico (10th) <br />Prime Meridian. <br />The proposed date of commencement is July 2009, and the proposed date of completion <br />is December 2020. The future use of the land is rangeland. Additional information and <br />tentative decision date may be obtained from the Division of Reclamation, Mining and <br />Safety, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567, or at <br />the La Plata County Clerk and Recorder's office, 1060 East Second, Durango Colorado <br />or the above named applicant. <br />Comments must be in writing and must be received by the Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety by 4:00 p.m. on May 10th 2009.
