Cattany <br />Division Director <br />RE: Bowie No. 2 Mine, Permit No. C-96-083, Bowie Resources LLC Natural Resource Trustee <br />Technical Revision No. 63, Bond Reduction for Dove Gulch-1 Road, Adequacy Review <br />Dear Mr. Bear: <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has finished its adequacy review for <br />Technical Revision No. 63 (TR-63), submitted by Bowie Resources LLC for the Bowie No. 2 Mine. The <br />Division does not have any adequacy review questions. The Division does have two comments, however: <br />1. Attached is the reclamation cost estimate reduction summary sheet for TR-63. The estimate is a <br />credit for tasks 263, 265 and 267 from Technical Revision No.53 and represents a decrease in <br />liability of $3,271.00. This decrease represents the credit for not constructing the Dove Gulch-1 <br />road. Please inform the Division in writing whether or not BRL approves of the Division's <br />reclamation cost estimate reduction. <br />2. Attached is an e-mail dated May 15, 2009 in which the USDA-Forest Service states that their agency <br />does not have any objections to the bond reduction proposed in TR-63. <br />If you have any questions, please call me. <br />Sincerely, <br />d -b t? <br />OysephJ.
