Bird,
Our family has lived her on the Zigan Homeowners for 3 years. We Build our home in 2006. Our
address is 10757 E 124th Ave.
These past few years we have noticed the lake water rising and falling. It was rising and falling
from anywhere from 12" to 25" from our beach. As the lake water went up we have noticed a lot of
moisture in our crawl space. We have check the water table and it is only 12" below the
surface. Now we are concerned about potential damage and mold issues.
Our house is not very old and we do not want mold problems. In our old house we had mold
issues and it was a mess. Our family has allergies and this affected them in the old house. Along
with that we have 2 children in our home and we do not want them exposed to mold causing
medical problems in the future. We also do not want our selves exposed as well.
We believe that there is ground water that flows just north of Wilbert and Sharon Bostrom's house
to the South Plate River. Since LaFarge put the slurry wall for the stagecoach pit our natural water
flow was cut off and now we do not have any drainage. Without our drainage our lake water and
water table go up thus causing potential problems in our home. This has been the highest we have
seen the lake in the 3 years. We are very concerned!! We would greatly appreciate any help on this
issuse! !
Sincerely,
Vincent and Connie Beluscak
Zigan Homeowners Association
10757 E 124th Ave.
Brighton, CO 80601
(303)659-0613
vckk124(cbmsn.com
