,A1 _ /fs-S- e e7
Bird, David
From: personalcherylcoughlin@yahoo.com ,.
Sent: Monday, May 18, 2009 9:45 AM
To: Bird, David
Cc: Zig@mesanetworks.net
Subject: Formal complaints with regard to high water lPVPIs in o? r aka
Attachments: Mary Lee Coughlin to David Bird.doc; Thomas Jody Coughlin to David Bird.doc
Good morning Mr. Bird,
Please find the attached 2 letters with regard to the water levels in our area. The first attachment is from Mary
Lee Coughlin (my mother-in-law), 81 years of age that we share residence and care at 12460 Brighton Road,
Brighton, CO. My husband, Timothy J. Coughlin and I are extremely worried about our home, property
and the health and well being of Mary Lee, who had the home built in 1998 for her retirement. The last 4 years
have produced work to beach, ramp and a constant worry for her (and us) since LaFarge, the water group, our
home owners association and multiple state and local agencies have yet to produce any result or plan as to
how the water levels are going to be corrected. Meanwhile, our family, our neighbors and everything we have
all worked so hard to build and develop is in jeopardy!
The second attachment is from my brother-in-law, Jody (Thomas Jody Coughlin). Jody is disabled and has his
home next to ours to be close to the family and to his mother. Again, the past years of struggle and worry are
another source of stress which is not supportive to his health conditions.
I urge you to please provide any assistance possible to our ZHA representative, Steve Zigan on pushing to get
this resolved. Steve quite accurately represents our small lake front community and has tirelessly given his time
an energy to get this corrected.
Respectfully,
Cheryl and Tim Coughlin
12460 Brighton Road
Brighton, CO. 80640
personalcher 1 lin(ibyahoo.com
