MAP UNIT: 98B - Valleycity - Rock outcrop complex, 30 to 60 percent slopes <br />MAP UNIT SETTINGS <br />Slope Range: 30 to 60 percent <br />Elevation Range: 5560 to 5760 feet <br />Aspect: All <br />Landform: Mesa sideslope <br />Parent Material: Residuum <br />State Geologic Symbol: Kdb - Dakota and Burro Canyon Formations <br />COMPOSITION <br />70 percent Valleycity soil <br />20 percent rock outcrop as rim rock and cliffs <br />Contra-fling Inclusions 10 percent Bowbac soil on colluvial slopes <br />INTERPRETATIONS <br />Lift Layers: <br />Lift Layer 1 Average Depth: 4 inches <br />Lift Layer 2 Average Depth: 12 inches <br />Total Lift Layer Average Depth: 16 inches <br />Other Considerations: Rock outcrop generally occurs as mesa rim rock at the top of the mesa <br />side slopes.
