BRL Responses to DRMS Adequacy Comments
The Division has previously provided Adequacy comments to Bowie Resources, LLC (BRL)
regarding its application for TR-48 for the Bowie No. 1 Mine. On 02-May-2008, I received
the enclosed letter and attachments from J.E. Stover & Associates, Inc. on behalf of BRL. I
am requesting your assistance in reviewing the portions of this packet dealing with seeding;
topsoil; and fertilization, and providing your recommendation as to whether TR-48 can be
approved.
A decision on TR-48 is due to be made on or before Friday, 30-May-2008. If possible, I
would like to receive your comments by Tuesday, 20-May-2008.
