I 9
and cut a gully along the side of the riprap. Repairs to the riprap segment and the eroded non-
riprap segments are warranted.
• Farther east of 006-NE2, an unnamed drainage extends from the reclaimed slope onto a steep
undisturbed slope. For a portion of its length, the drainage had been lined with TRM, which appeared to
have functioned well. However, there was a deep gully extending from the lower end of the TRM
segment downslope toward 006 Gulch. Regrading and stabilization of the eroded segment(riprap
or TRM) is warranted.
Slides and Damage
There appears to have been recent movement on a previous slide repair area, north facing slope south of the
upper reach of 006 Gulch (upslope from the Ridgeline Access Road). A settling crack visible from a long
distance, across a long span of the slope was evident. Due to poor access and muddy conditions the
feature was not closely inspected, but it will need to be assessed and repaired as warranted when
conditions allow.
Revegetation
Due to season, revegetation was not closely inspected. It was observed that the a good stand of grasses and
sagebrush has become established along the sides and slopes of the Ridgeline Road between the county road
and the reclaimed "D" pit area, through most of the segment.
4
