DESIGN RAINFALL STATISTICS <br />For Colorado Using NOAA Atlas 2, Volume III <br />Version 1.01a, Released July 2005 <br />Urban Drainage and Flood Control District <br />Denver, Colorado <br />Purpose: This workbook applies the NOAA Atlas 2, Volume III to derive design <br />rainfall statistics and create Depth-Duration-Frequency (DDF) tables, <br />and Intensity-Duration-Frequency (IDF) tables. <br />Function: 1. Defines the four hydrologic zones for the state of Colorado. <br />2. Allows construction of DDF and IDF tables for the project site <br />based on the project area's hydrologic zone and elevation. <br />Content: The workbook consists of the following six sheets: <br />INTRO Describes the purpose of each sheet in the workbook. <br />Zone Colorado hydrologic zone map. <br />Z-1 DDF and OF Tables for Zone 1. <br />Z-2 DDF and IDF Tables for Zone 2. <br />Z-3 DDF and IDF Tables for Zone 3. <br />Z-4 DDF and OF Tables for Zone 4. <br />Acknowledgements: Spreadsheet Development Team: <br />Dr. James C.Y.
