The PR Spring tank
pipe and monitoring well W-1 were sampled on February 10, 2009. DP Spring was
checked and a flow measurement was recorded. The laboratory data report for the PR
Spring and monitoring well W-1 samples is attached.
The flows at PR Spring and DP Spring were estimated by determining the time required
to fill a 5-gallon bucket. The estimated flow rates are consistent with historical records
for these springs. The inflow within the Whirlwind decline could not be measured
directly because it occurs over approximately 100 feet of the decline and within the drifts.
The Whirlwind inflow is estimated based on the volume of water treated and estimations
of the volume of water evaporated off the untreated water tank and brought out of the
mine in ventilated air.
The analytical data for PR Spring and monitoring well W-1 were added to Tables 1 and
3, respectively, which also show previously collected data for comparison purposes. The
water sample from PR Spring was similar in chemistry and water quality to previous
sampling events. The third sampling event from monitoring well W-1 shows a
decreasing trend for various major ions and metals, presumably due to further
development of monitoring well. However, further sampling events will need to be
conducted to confirm that this trend isn't due to natural variability in the groundwater
and/or analysis.
Energy Fuels, Inc.
www.energyfuels.com
44 Union Blvd., Suite 600
Lakewood, Colorado 80228
Phone: 303-974-2140
Fax: 303-974-2141
