I've tried to write my <br />comments in wad that would allow far direct insertion into a letter to olawyo, if you <br />sa choose. <br />Let me know if you have and questions. <br />?'o?oil ?{?.?5.??}?d, and 4.0?? <br />The I)i?iision requested various modifications to the proposed plan for variable <br />topsoil replacement in the past SODS units of e original permit area and the <br />youth Taylor reclamation unit. In general, the Division requested commitments <br />and details to ensure that the plan would comply with Rule 4.0?.4?Z??a?, and also <br />to ensure that the plan would provide far ecologically significant variation xn sail <br />replacement thickness, given the available soil volurries and the objective of <br />enhanced vegetative diversity. These same basic concerns regarding lack of <br />co?.?nitments and details had been identified in the I)ivision.'s initial preliminary <br />adequacy letter of April ?9, ??a8, specific requests made by the D?v?slon ?n the <br />January ??, ?Oa? letter were: <br />• Provide a reclatnatian map showing proposed topsoil thickness averages <br />and ranges far delineated sites, along with planned location and extent of <br />various enhancement treahnents mentioned in the reclamation plan <br />narrative, and; <br />? Commit to conduct annual sail replacement thickness sampling; and to <br />provide Annual Reclamation Report reap and table documentation Qf soil <br />replace?.ent thickness, <br />??ice of office of <br />Mined i_ar?d Reclamation Denver • Grand ?ur?ction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
