In
that report, Russian Olive trees were observed along the perimeter of ponds found on site. The
corrective action identified was to remove all trees prior to December 31, 2008. The City of Fort
Collins requested and received an extension to April 30, 2009 for the corrective action.
Russian Olive trees were cut and removed prior to April 30, 2009 as requested. All material was
removed from site and stumps treated to prevent re-growth. Also noted in the inspection report
was the presence of bare spots within the revegetated areas located in the southwest portion of
the permit area. These areas were reseeded this spring in an effort to establish vegetation cover
across the site.
If you need any additional information, please contact me at (970) 416-2814.
Sincerely,
Daylan Figgs
Fort Collins Natural Areas
