Please find enclosed
and note that several cultural resources are in the area and respond to the office regarding their concerns.
Please .forward Nuvemco's response to DRMS for the file.
Staff has also received a copy of the Public Notice Affidavit. An error has occurred which will require new
publication of the Public Notice per Rule 1.6.6. Per Rule 1.7.1(2)(a) comments must be submitted within
twenty(20) days of the last day of publication. The affidavit notes that publication is from April 23 to May 14,
2009 and comments must be received by May 13, 2009. The comments should have been noted as having to
be submitted by June 2, 2009 not the 13th of May. Please republish for four (4) consecutive weeks and it may
be easier to note that "comments must be submitted within twenty (20) days of the last date of publication"
rather than a specific date.
If you need additional information, please contact me at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety,
Grand Junction Field Office, 101 S. 3rd St., Suite 301, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, telephone no.
970.241.1117.
Sincerely,
G.
