Permit No. C-1981-022
MR-88 Application for modification to Bear Creek Fansite Utility Boreholes
Dear Ms. Talvitie:
The purpose of this letter is to request Minor Revision 88 to the Oxbow Mining LLC Permit No. C-1981-
022. This MR provides for additional information regarding the utility boreholes to be installed at the
Bear Creek Fansite.
Recall that the original TR-60 predicted that three 6" utility boreholes would be installed at the Bear
Creek fansite. After coordinating with MSHA on mine ventilation issues, Oxbow has finalized the plans
for the boreholes. The pad will contain two 7" I.D. steel cased utility boreholes and one 18" I.D. steel
cased mine bleeder/ventilation borehole fitted with two portable, electric powered methane exhausters.
A modified PAP page 2.05-12b is attached. We have also included an informational drawing of the plan
for the borehole locations for the Division's information. Oxbow's plans are to submit a final as-built for
the facility (Exhibit 2.05-E1-BCA2 Facility Layout) in the future when all of the construction has been
completed.
Please contact me at 970-929-5806 if I can provide any additional information or if you have any
questions.
Sincerely,
00 1 k??
rm A.
