Facility Number COG-500438 <br />Page 1 <br />Colorado Discharge Permit System Regulations <br />CERTIFICATION <br />under <br />DbSCHARGESASSOCIATED WITHSAND AND GRAVEL MININGAND PROCESSING OPERATIONS <br />(AND OTHER NONMETALLIC MINERALS EXCEPT FUEL) <br />Category 07, Subcategory 1-4, Current annual fee $270 (CRS 25-8-502) <br />This certification specifically authorizes Northern Colorado Constructors, Inc. to discharge in accordance with the <br />General Permit for Sand and Gravel Mining and Processing Operations (and other nonmetallic minerals except fuel). <br />All correspondence relative to this facility should reference the specific facility number, COG-500438. <br />Permittee Contacts <br />Northern Colorado Constructors, Inc. Permittees who have been covered under the previous general permit and <br />reapplied in a timely manner will automatically be covered under this renewal general permit without lapse in permit coverage. <br />Permit fees previously paid will also automatically be transferred to this renewal general permit. Permittees will need to comply <br />with the terms and conditions of the new permit beginning July 1, 2008. In the interim, the permittee shall comply with the terms <br />and conditions set in the previous certification. As before, only discharges to surface waters of the State are covered. The Colorado <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (CDRMS) has authority over discharges to ground water from sand and gravel mining <br />and processing operations. <br />icre have been several changes to the permit. The facility is located at 8249 Weld County Road 29 in Fort Lupton (Weld County), CO; Latitude: 40° 07' <br />12" north, longitude: 104° 49' 57" west. .25 <br />Ou alls <br />001A Discharge from a settling basin flows to Little Dry Creek. Avg: 1.5 MGD <br />Effluent Parameters <br />The discharges will flow to Little Dry Creek within Segment 3a of the Middle South Platte River Sub-basin, South Platte River <br />Basin. This segment is found in the Classifications and Numeric Standards for the South Platte River Basin (Regulation No. 38; last <br />update effective March 1, 2008). Segment 3a is designated as Use Protected and is classified for the following beneficial uses: <br />Aquatic Life, Class 2 (Warm); Recreation, Class la; and Agriculture. <br />If power is not available, flow may be measured on an instantaneous basis.
