PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Pursuant to the Construction Materials Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board, notice is given that Ready Mixed Concrete Company dba Ready Mixed <br />Aggregates, Inc., 14585 Brighton Road, Brighton, Colorado 80601, phone (303) 659-0630, has <br />filed an amendment to their existing Regular (112) Operation Reclamation Permit (M-1987-049) <br />with the Colorado Land Reclamation Board under the provisions of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Act for the extraction of Construction Materials. The site, known as Bromley <br />Lakes Pit, is located approximately two miles southwest of Brighton Colorado in portions of <br />Sections 12, 13, 14 and 24, Township 1 South, Range 67 West of the 6th Principal Meridian in <br />Adams County, Colorado. The proposed permit amendment 1) incorporates contiguous Permit <br />M-1985-017 into the existing permit; 2) changes the end land use for parts of the properties from <br />wildlife habitat to developed water resource for the City of Brighton; and 3) adds 77 acres of <br />new affected land that will be reclaimed as both developed water resource and reclaimed <br />cropland. <br />Additional information and a tentative decision date may be obtained from the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining & Safety (DRMS) at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203, <br />phone (303) 866-3567. Information is also available from the applicant's representative, Mr. Bill <br />Timmons at (303) 659-0630. A copy of the permit amendment application package is available <br />for inspection at the office of the Adams County Clerk and Recorder at 450 South 4th Avenue, <br />Brighton, Colorado 80601. <br />Comments must be in writing and must be received by DRMS no later than May 12, 2009, by <br />4:00 PM <br />To be published in the Brighton Blade
