Outfall 003A flowed during the last three weeks of March.
Outfalls 005A/005X/MON005 flowed during each week of March. Outfall 006A and 008A flowed the last two weeks of March,
and Outfalls 007A/007W/MON007 flowed the last three weeks of March. No exceedances were noted. Due to an error in
filling out the chain-of-custody form, the wrong parameter list was requested for the MON007 sample in March. The error was
discovered in early April, and a sample collected at that time. The attached DMR for MON007 represents the April results
(with the exception of total mercury, which was analyzed in March). An additional sample for Mon007 will be collected in late
April, and will be reported on the April DMR.
Quarterly Whole Effluent Toxicity (WET) tests were collected for analysis for Outfalls 005W and 007W during the period. The
tests indicated that the effluent were not acutely toxic to Daphnia magna survival (see attached laboratory reports).
In order to reduce the amount of paper work, the following certification will be substituted for the actual DMR forms to cover
the outfalls, which did not discharge. These include Outfalls 002A (Pond T), and 004A (Pond C). Further note that ponds A
(Outfall 001A), and H (Outfall 009A) have been deactivated following bond release, and have been removed from the
amended permit, effective January 1, 2003.
CERTIFICATION
1 certify under penalty of law that l have personally examined and am familiar with the information submitted herein; and
based on my inquiry of those individuals responsible for obtaining the information, l believe the submitted information is
true, accurate, and complete. /am aware that there are significant penalties for submitting false information, including the
possibility of fine and imprisonment. See 18 U.S.C. § 1001 and 33 U.S.C. § 1319.
