Phase II <br />Phase II of the field program took place August 10`h through 20`h, 2007. During Phase II, <br />WMC staff investigated the hydrogeology of the north side of Grassy Valley. Three <br />alluvial and two bedrock monitoring wells were installed as well bedrock and alluvial <br />well pairs (with the exception of GVMW-21A, as no shallow groundwater system was <br />identified while drilling the bedrock well). These well pairings were distributed across <br />the north slope of Grassy Valley to better asses shallow and bedrock water levels on that <br />side of the valley. Well locations are illustrated on Figure B-1, construction overviews <br />are provided in Table B 1, and drilling and construction logs are provided in Figure B-2. <br />•
