Cattany <br />Foidel Creek Mine Division Director <br />Natural <br />29515 Routt County Road No. 27 Resource Trustee <br />Oak Creek, CO 80467 <br />RE: August 2008 Discharge Monitoring Report, CO-GO72758 <br />Dear Mr. Watterson: <br />The Division received Twentymile Coal Company's (TCC) NPDES Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR), <br />for August 2008, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment CDPS permit no. CO-GO72758 <br />on April 21, 2009. TCC reported that Outfall 001A did not discharge during the month of August 2008. <br />This outfall is for the 6MN pond. This impoundment was constructed without a primary spillway <br />(containment pond). As such, it only discharges when pumped. Pumping by TCC has only occurred when <br />water level in the pond is elevated due to snowmelt. <br />The report is in compliance with Rule 4.15.13(2)(iii).
