Public Notice <br />Western Fuels-Colorado, LLC, P.O. Box 628, Nucla, Colorado 81424, has submitted a <br />complete application for a renewal of a valid, existing permit to conduct mining in Colorado <br />to the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety for its New Horizon Mine, Permit No. <br />C-81-008. <br />The permit area contains some 922.18 acres of private lands. These areas are situated <br />as follows: <br />Portions of: SW 1/4, Section 25, Township 47 North, Range 16 West <br />SW 1/4, Section 31, Township 47 North, Range 15 West <br />S'/2, Section 36,Township 47 North, Range 16 West <br />N '/2 Section 6, Township 46 North, Range 15 West <br />N %2 SE 1/4 Section 6, Township 46 North, Range 15 West <br />N'/2 NE 1/4 SW 1/4 Section 6, Township 46 North, Range 15 West <br />N %2, Section 1, Township 46 North, Range 16 West <br />The above mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Nucla Quadrangle <br />map. <br />A copy of the permit renewal application is available for public inspection at the Montrose <br />County Courthouse Annex, Nucla, Colorado . A copy of the approved permit application <br />document, as well as the renewal application, is available at the Denver and Grand <br />Junction offices of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety [Room 215, 1313 <br />Sherman St., Denver, CO 80203, (303) 866-3567; 101 South 3`d, Suite 301, Grand <br />Junction, CO 81501, (970) 242-5025]. Written comments, objections or a request for an <br />informal conference on the proposed permit renewal may be submitted to the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Denver or Grand Junction offices, and must be received <br />by the Division within 30 days after final publication of this notice.
