MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-9nnn-084 <br />INSPECTION DATE: 4/9/09 INSPECTOR=S INITIALS: MAC <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />The inspection was conducted by Michael Cunningham of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety. Jess <br />Stackhouse of Washington County was also present for the inspection. The Chris Aaegeson Pit #2 is permitted <br />for 9.9 acres and is located approximately 15 miles north and 9 miles east of Otis, Colorado. <br />This inspection was conducted as part of the Division's regular monitoring program. The permit sign and <br />boundary markers were posted in accordance with Rule 3.1.12. No mining was taking place at the time of the <br />inspection; no mining equipment was present. Rock Creek cuts through the northern portion of the permit <br />boundary; the creek was not flowing during the inspection. Several small pools of water were present from a <br />recent precipitation event. The topsoil stockpile has been segregated and stockpiled on the west side of the pit; it <br />is vegetated and does not show any signs of erosion. Mining is currently taking place north of Rock Creek along <br />the northern permit boundary.
