All review and comment periods as provided in the Colorado Surface Mining Reclamation Act <br />and the Rules initiate from this date of filing. <br />Western Fuels-Colorado, LLC proposes to continue surface coal mining and/or reclamation operations on land <br />located approximately 1 mile North of Nucla, Colorado. The operator has requested no new disturbed acreage <br />with this renewal application, nor would additional lands be incorporated into the permit area. The permit area is <br />further described as follows: <br />Portions of Sections 1 and 6, Township 46 North, Range 15 West, New Mexico Prime Meridian; and Portions of <br />Sections 25, 31, and 36, Township 47 North, Range 16 West, New Mexico Prime Meridian <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Nucla. <br />A copy of the renewal application is available for public inspection at the Montrose County Clerk and Recorder, <br />161 South Townsend, Montrose, CO 81401, and at the Division office.
